Artists can create art from just about anything. While we munch on biscuits, an artist in Kerala, used 25,000 biscuits to create a spellbinding piece of art. Suresh PK, popularly called ‘DaVinci’ Suresh, spent 15 hours creating a 24-foot long face of Theyyam, a god figure of Kerala. The artist known for using different mediums to create art pieces used a total of 25,000 biscuits of different colours, shapes and sizes to construct the vibrant face of Theyyam.

The Bake Story, a bakery in Kannur things with people, waiting to catch a glimpse of the mesmerising artwork of Theyyam, constructed using 25,000 biscuits. Made in the hall of the bakery, the artist, Suresh PK took 15 hours to complete the 24-foot long artwork. The bakery’s chef Muhammad Rashid invited Da Vinci Suresh to showcase his creation using the bakery’s items. This is the artist’s 79th piece of art, using unique mediums. Muhammad Rashid, the chef revealed to Times Now that Bake Story is part of Da Vinci Suresh’s 100 medium plan.

He Earlier Created Portrait Of Actor Mohanlal Using Kitchen Vessels

The 25,000 biscuits used to prepare the artwork, were later given to a veterinary farm for biodegradation. Suresh has earlier created awe-inspiring art pieces like a portrait of actor Mohanlal using kitchen vessels. A Rajinikanth using soot from burning candles and a Prithviraj Sukumaran’s portrait using firewood also grabbed headlines earlier. He also created larger than life portraits of MS Dhoni and Amitabh Bachchan. The Theyyam mascot biscuit portrait has left the internet shocked. It’s truly wonderful to witness how art can be created from the simplest things.
