The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts recently announced the signing of two properties- The Leela Kovalam, a Raviz Hotel and The Leela Ashtamudi, a Raviz Hotel. In this manner, The Leela shall expand its footprint in Kerala. The two properties are said to complement each other and yet offer distinctive experiences to patrons.
The Leela Kovalam Offering Stunning Beach Views
The Leela Kovalam is India’s only clifftop beach resort that offers panoramic views of the Kovalam shoreline. It’s nestled a 20-minute drive away from Thiruvananthapuram Airport. The resort has its own Helipad and a private passage to the Arabian sea, so travellers can soak their feet in the azure blue waters. The Leela Kovalam features 184 rooms and suites and also 4 luxurious suites at the Kovalam Palace, a once summer house of the Travancore royal family.

The Leela Ashtamudi Near Historic Kollam City
On the other hand, The Leela Ashtamudi, a Raviz Hotel is an authentic Kerala-style backwater resort.
