Malaysia Is India’s New Favourite For Destination Weddings And Here’s Why

Malaysia is one of India’s preferred countries for international trips and will now be a new destination for Indians to get married at. Malaysia’s Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri said, at a recent event in Malaysia, that India has expressed its interest in making Malaysia India’s preferred wedding destination. So, what do you think about a wedding destination in Malaysia for a change?

Malaysia As Wedding Destination

Nancy went on to say that Malaysia has caught the global’s eye for its natural landscapes and rice fields. Especially wedding planners are now identifying the country’s uniqueness and how it can make it a beautiful destination for weddings. She also said that the weddings could be held in the luscious fields, near the waterfalls and other attractive spots.

Nancy also said that Malaysia had previously drawn many couples to Genting Highlands, Pahang. She also announced the introduction of eco-tourism in the areas where couples would like to tie the knot amid the green and picturesque surroundings.

Malaysia As Filming Destination

Datuk Seri Azlan Man said Malaysia could be an ideal spot for film shooting. He also said the country had many foreign filmmakers due to the reasonable prices imposed for shooting at various locations. The state government also plans to seek help from the Central government to promote Perlis for filming and shooting purposes.
