We all know the wildly popular mockumentary television show, The Office. One of the most popular characters on the show is Dwight Schrute played by Rainn Wilson. In a delightful series of events recently, the actor ended up sitting next to someone who was watching a TV show while he was there! And even though Jim is the one usually messing with Dwight, this time it was Dwight who couldn’t help but mess with this passenger.

Recently, while flying on a Delta Airlines flight Rainn Wilson, the actor who plays Dwight Schrute, ended up sitting next to a passenger who just happened to be watching The Office. He took to his social media and posted a video of it.
According to Wilson, the person, at first, didn’t realise that he was sitting next to the famous actor. And there was good reason for that. It seems that Dwight Schrute is great at disguising himself and hiding in plain sight even in real life.
The actor said that since he wore a cap and a mask which obscured most of his face, his co-passenger didn’t pay any mind to him. However, the veteran actor couldn’t resist messing with him for a bit.
He leaned in and asked the passenger about the show and said that he had heard that it was a bad show. The passenger responded that though the show has a slow beginning, it really picks up later on.

Recently, the actor made an appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,’ in order to promote his new book. He narrated the incident there. He said that the conversation between him and his co-passenger went on for about 47 seconds before it dawned on him.
He described his facial expressions as “face-melting brain explosion.” But hey, could you blame him? Anybody’s mind would be blown if they had a television actor come alive from the TV screen and in the chair next to them!
