What if someone says that grabbing a ham roll is the biggest mistake of their life? You won’t believe it right? How can something as tasty as a ham roll feel like a mistake. Well a man in Birmingham, United Kingdom, regrets eating a ham roll for he has not stopped farting because of it for 5 years now. The problem has led to the man suing the food stall that served him ham roll 5 years ago.
Festive Ham Roll Led To Salmonella
Tyrone Prades, a 46 year old man, visited a food stall with his wife and children and ate a festive ham roll. Tyrone actually suffered from fever, diarrhea, vomiting and stomach cramps, within some hours of eating the ham roll. He is a Wiltshire-based father and now is suing the food stall for over ₹1 crore. The high court was informed by Tyrone’s lawyer that Tyrone was bedridden for about 5 years with a disease called “Salmonella’ which is caused by bacteria. Since then, Tyrone has experienced frequent, uncontrollable flatulence that has caused him to be ashamed in public and to wake up at night. He further explained that Tyrone’s stomach made endless rumbling sounds so much so that his sleep got disrupted.

A Ham Roll Changed His Life
The lawyer termed the incident of Tyrone having ham roll to be life changing in the most negative sense and also informed the court that others who brought food from the place too reportedly fell ill as well. Public Health England ordered an investigation and ever since the stall was closed and deeply cleaned The company that served the ham sandwich, Frankfurt Christmas Market Ltd., admitted that the authorities discovered Escherichia coli or E. coli on a knife but not Salmonella. The claim was actually unrelated to e.coli, according to the attorney Philip Davy, but it still needed to be shown.
