The fully automated vending machine providing nutritional food and beverages dispenses products quickly and is extremely convenient to use. Passengers can pay through cashless options such as Paytm, PhonePe, Google Pay, and credit or debit cards.
Mangalore Beaches To Get Makeover To Encourage Beach Tourism
Beach tourism in Mangalore is getting the much-needed push from the government. Malpe Beach Development Committee is installing gorgeous sculptures and other attractions near Malpe Sea Walk. According to The Hindu, these sculptures include that of a fisherman on a traditional boat, a fish, cat and Garuda in Yakshagana style. These beach sculptures shall attract and entertain children.
Apart from the beach sculptures at Malpe Sea Walk, this project also includes a garden, children’s play area and even an amphitheatre. The amphitheatre can accommodate around 200 to 250 people at a time. Sand art models will also encourage children to learn this art. Chandrashekar Naik, in-charge Assistant Director (Tourism) stated to The Hindu that these attractions will be ready for tourists by the end of 2020. Visitors can enjoy a breathtaking sea walk and relax in this area.
Malpe Beach To Get Chopper Rides, Winch-Boat Parasailing & Much More
Adventure enthusiasts can also expect to see an array of adventure sports facilities at Mangalore beaches. According to TOI, Mantra Tourism Development Company hosts parasailing and even winch-boat parasailing in Malpe Beach. Sudesh Shetty, proprietor, MTDC informed TOI that they will also revive heli tourism rides from December. Tourists can go on chopper rides from Malpe Beach and enjoy a scenic view of St Mary’s Island. Well, with Mangalore beaches getting a picturesque makeover.
