Meta Launches It’s Standalone Office In Asia In Gurgaon And It Looks Every Bit Stunning

Meta, formerly Facebook, has launched its first standalone office in Asia in Gurgoan’s Cyberhub. Vice President of Meta India, Ajit Mohan, took to Twitter to make the big announcement. On December 8, Mohan shared pictures of the office on Twitter and wrote, “Big milestone, @Meta’s new office in Gurugram was unveiled this morning by the Honourable Minister @Rajeev_GoI. First stand alone office in Asia. A new centre announced to train 1 crore small businesses and 250,000 creators in 3 years. Excited for our journey ahead in India.”

The Office Will House Teams Of Facebook, Instagram And WhatsApp

The new office of Meta in Gurgaon will be a collaborative space for creative professionals. It will house teams of Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. The office, which looks triangular from above, has an open floor design and it bears similarities with the headquarters in Menlo Park, US. The Meta office in Gurgaon is also one of the largest offices of the company. According to The Hindu report, Mohan has stated that India is the largest country for Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram where, ‘in many ways, the future of the internet is being shaped’. He added that the company considers this office as a prospect for Meta to build a space to house the largest team in the country and build a space that deeply engages with the world outside.

The Office Has Several Touchless Facilities

The Meta Gurgaon office spreads across an area of 1.3 lakh square feet. The office also has several touchless facilities in the cafeteria and washrooms. The building has also received the LEED Platinum Certification. Also, Meta has also opened its Centre for Fuelling India’s New Economy to train around one crore small businesses and 2.5 lakh creators over the span of the next three years.
