Founded in 2013, Blue Tokai has spent over a decade shaping India’s modern coffee movement, built around quality, transparency and traceability. What began as an effort to make freshly roasted Indian coffee more accessible has since grown into the country’s leading speciality coffee brand, now running more than 250 cafés and three roasteries and working directly with over 80 coffee farms across India. The brand also has an established presence in Tokyo, Japan, and Dubai is its next big step outward.
What To Expect At The New Café
Blue Tokai’s farm-to-cup philosophy makes its way to the UAE with the Dubai outpost, bringing customers closer to the origins and stories behind each cup. The menu has single-estate coffees from across India, seasonal specials and signature blends, as well as multiple brewing methods to let guests explore different flavour profiles at their leisure. The café serves freshly prepared food, pastries and baked goods, and coffee in a warm, contemporary space designed for everyday routines, casual meetings and social catch-ups.

What’s Next
Blue Tokai isn’t stopping at one café. A second UAE location is already in the works, signalling the brand’s intent to build a real footprint across the GCC rather than a single flagship presence. For a market that’s had no shortage of international coffee entrants in recent years, Blue Tokai’s traceability-first, farm-to-cup approach offers something a little different, and its first cafe at BurJuman is just the starting point.
