Rashi Chowdhary Talks About Quiet Quitting In Indian Marriages

During the conversation, Rashi Chowdhary talked about the challenges that women often face while dealing with their husbands shouldering a number of responsibilities, as some of them tend to receive no help from their partner. It was while talking about this topic that she touched on the term quiet quitting. She said, “That’s what’s happening with a lot of Indian marriages. A lot of women are quietly quitting their marriages. They have now reached a place where they have married, had children, and they realise that a lot of their life is just going on.”

“And so, women are quietly quitting the marriages where they feel, I don’t know what I want my life anymore.” Talking about this, she says that this obviously affects the nervous system of women. As a result, they are constantly in fight-or-flight; they feel anxious and constantly tend to overthink.
