Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, The Ruler Of Dubai has always aided his support in building initiatives that extend support to underprivileged people. From Bread For All to 1Million Meals following the 1 Billion Meals, the Vice President of UAE always made sure food reaches people in need. And the help is not restricted to his own territories. His Majesty’s initiative of 1 Billion meals aided the underprivileged and undernourished people in Bangladesh.

HH Mohammed Bin Rashid & WFP Collabs To Extend Support To Bangladesh

5.4 million meals have now been distributed in Rohingya refugee camps in Bangladesh, as part of the “1 Billion Meals” initiative.  Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) is the name behind this initiative. It is famous as the world’s largest food donation drive to aid the poor and undernourished. To date, it has aided support to 50 countries across four continents. MBRGI had a successful collaboration with the World Food Programme of the United Nations (WFP).

Food assistance has been directly transferred to beneficiaries in the form of quick redeemable smart vouchers. This way it enables recipients to buy the food they need from WFP-certified shops and supermarkets. WFP has an internationally extensive reach in refugee camps.

MBRGI Is Offering Instantly Redeemable Food Vouchers To The Underprivileged

MBRGI is eager to provide relief promptly to those in need, to uphold their dignity, and to maintain cutting-edge and effective humanitarian efforts. As such, it has adopted instantaneously redeemable smart vouchers that come with food aid to beneficiaries. Reaching underprivileged communities, such as refugees and internally displaced individuals, effectively reflects the ideals of MBRGI. Also the larger UAE by assisting and offers aid to everyone around the world, without prejudice or exception.

20,000 individuals in Cox’s Bazar camps received aid from 1 Billion Meals. The voucher enabled them to buy essential food products from local vendors. Thanks to an identifying code they received on their mobile phones, ensuring that aid gets to them promptly.

Similarly, Bread For All initiative in UAE is helping every person in the region to never sleep empty stomach no matter what condition they are in.
