Odisha is a hidden gem in India — famous for its ancient temples, blue azure beaches, lush green forests and mouth-watering seafood. Travel enthusiasts, you have another stellar reason to visit the ‘Soul of incredible India’. And that’s the ‘Beach of Flowers’. Forest officer Susanta Nanda took to Twitter to urge Netizens to move over the ‘Valley of Flowers’ and visit Odisha’s ‘Beach of flowers’ instead. Here’s all about it.

Odisha Has ‘Beach Of Flowers’ & It’s Breathtaking!

Indian Forest Service officer Susanta Nanda took to Twitter to share breathtaking pictures of beaches in Odisha covered in purple-hued flowers. The two pictures clicked on the seashores of Odisha show the sands covered in lush greenery and strikingly beautiful flowers. Calling it ‘Beach of Flowers’, Susanta informed in his caption that Puri has two stretches of cleanest and most serene beaches —  Golden Beach and Niladri Beach.

The Golden Beach of Puri was awarded the Blue Flag certification in 2020 for meeting high cleanliness, safety and environmental criteria. Nestled 2 km from the revered Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri, the Golden Beach is considered to be a sacred abode by locals. Niladri Beach is known for housing modern recreational amenities. This includes an amphitheatre, sports equipment, beach huts and a spacious lawn garden for visitors.

Visit These Beaches During Sunrise To See The Flowers

With the Golden Beach and Niladri Beach bathed in pink and purple Beach Morning Glory flowers, water babies are in for a treat.
