There have been so many news and updates about the grand terminal 2 of the Kempegowda International Airport. Everyone is so excited to experience the beautiful terminal and finally, it started its operations after a lot of time. On the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti, terminal 2 of the Bengaluru airport commenced its domestic service to Kalaburagi in Karnataka. Terminal 2 Of Bengaluru Airport Started Operations On Sunday

On the morning of 15 January, the first domestic flight took off from terminal 2 of the airport. The operations began with 40 passengers on a Star Air flight to fly to their destination, Kalaburgi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the newest terminal back in November 2022 and after about 2 months, the first flight took off from here. With this domestic services begin for terminal 2 of the Bengaluru airport now. According to several reports, international flights will start operating from here by the month of April.

The flight departed from the terminal at 8:47 am. The journey has surely been such a memorable one for the passengers and everyone on the crew. The first flight is always special and to make it even more memorable, there was dance and music to welcome the passengers on this historic flight.
The Next Flight Services From Here:
At noon, another flight departed from here and this time, the destination was Hubbali. The return flight will reach the airport at around 8:25 pm today. The first flight that landed at this terminal was another Star Air flight arriving from Kalaburgi. It reached here at 11:55 am. As of now, Star Air is the only airline that will provide services from this terminal of the Bengaluru airport. They will operate for the next couple of weeks.
Terminal 2 has a total of 22 gates for entry and exit with 9 belts for baggage claims. Travelling from here is surely going to be a brilliant experience with the beautifully themed terminal with modern technology such as the metaverse experience.
