Makers In Legal Trouble
According to officials, an FIR was registered on February 1 at Mumbai’s MRA Marg police station against Rinku Rajpal Valmiki. According to Financial Express, the case was filed under Section 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which deals with wilful disobedience of lawful orders. The complaint, as reported by India Today, is linked to a filming-related violation in the Fort area.
The Fort area is considered a sensitive zone and is subject to strict surveillance, especially when it comes to the use of drones. As per the complaint, an unauthorised drone was used to film a sequence for Dhurandhar 2 without official clearance. The incident reportedly occurred on February 1, the third day of the shoot, when actor Sanjay Dutt was also present on set. The Mumbai Police have emphasised that all filming and drone activities in restricted zones must strictly follow regulations. They added that surveillance of shoots in high-security areas will remain in place to ensure public safety.
