Northern Lights Under 140 Characters

Nature’s best way of displaying the free multicolored light show in Arctic and Antarctic regions. Though every light performance is different, they all look magical.

What is it?

Astronomically, it is the collision of gaseous particles in the Earth’s atmosphere with charged particles released from the sun’s atmosphere.

When is the Best time?

October to March is the best time to see the black canvas of the sky getting painted.

Where to spot the Northern Lights?

Fly to Canada, Sweden, Alaska, Norway, Finland, Iceland or Lapland (BTW in Iceland, you can see the lights from September to April) and witness the celestial disco lights in the sky which will not just make you but your heart as well dance.

Just FYI

  • It’s also known as aurora-viewing trip.
  • The lights are clearly visible during the darkest hours.
  • In Canada, visit Tundra Buggy for best view.
  • Stay at Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort in Finland and book the choice of your glass igloo to make the most of the Northern Lights.
