Nushrratt Bharuccha Loves Geetanjali Chinese’s Chappad Rice

In an interview with Curly Tales Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani and Mashable India’s Siddharth Aalambayan, Nushrratt Bharuccha spilt the tea about her ardent love for desi Chinese food. The Chhorii actress screamed in delight when they drove past Juhu’s famous Geetanjali Chinese. Nushrratt Bharuccha, almost salivating, said she loves the Chappad Rice there.

Nushrratt Bharuccha exclaimed that the Chinese rice is super spicy, orange-coloured and dunked in Schezwan sauce. And that’s exactly how she loves it. But the foodie has an interesting hack for devouring Chinese food at restaurants. She always carries her own cutlery, plate, bowl, soup bowl and soup spoon from home. She puts it in her car and takes it with her to Chinese restaurants. Nushrratt Bharuccha tells the servers to serve the Chinese food in her own bowls and plates. Isn’t this an interesting hack?

She Learnt & Aced Cooking During The Lockdown

Moreover, Nushrratt Bharuccha, who admitted to not even knowing how to heat food in a microwave, ended up not just learning, but acing cooking during the COVID-19 pandemic. She even joked about her friends avoiding coming to her house for meals as she was a bad cook. Nushrratt Bharuccha says, “I can now cook a mushroom-stuffed tofu in a nice soya sauce. Then I do rice sheets of prawns or chicken”.
