What if the person you love suddenly loved you back, obsessively, without hesitation? That is the unsettling question at the heart of Obsession, the horror film that turns a seemingly innocent wish into a nightmare. Now, with the Hindi-dubbed version available to Indian audiences, the film’s strangest talking point is getting fresh attention: the One Wish Willow, a stick that promises to make your deepest desire come true.
What Is The One Wish Willow In Obsession?
The Hindi version is a dubbed adaptation of the original English-language film. Directed by Curry Barker, Obsession stars Michael Johnston as Bear and Inde Navarrette as Nikki. Its Hindi version arrived on JioHotstar on October 30, 2026, with Varun Dhawan voicing Bear and Kriti Sanon voicing Nikki.
The premise is deliciously disturbing. Bear wants the woman he has loved for years to return his feelings. Instead of accepting the uncertainty of romance, he turns to a mysterious object that promises to grant one wish. And…what follows is a reminder that getting exactly what you want can be much worse than not getting it at all.
The One Wish Willow is the film’s fictional wish-granting stick. Its instructions sound almost ridiculously plain: break the stick, make a wish and let the magic happen.
Bear wishes for Nikki to love him more than anyone else in the world. His wish appears to come true, but her affection soon takes a frightening turn. The romance he imagined gives way to possessiveness and behaviour that neither he nor Nikki can easily control. The film uses this supernatural premise to explore obsession, consent and the disturbing difference between being loved and being controlled.
That is also what makes the object such an effective horror prop. It looks like something you might impulsively buy online, not an artefact that could wreck your life. The idea echoes W. W. Jacobs’ classic horror story The Monkey’s Paw, in which wishes come with devastating consequences.

Does The One Wish Willow Actually Work?
The official website answers this question rather bluntly; the willow is “100% magical and 0% real”. It is a collectable designed for entertainment, and the seller explicitly states that it does not grant actual wishes.
Where To Buy The One Wish Willow In India And How Much Does It Cost?
The original product’s official website, onewishwillow.com, currently lists the item as sold out.
Indian buyers can also find a film-inspired version on The Indian Book Store. The listing advertises three natural willow wands for ₹799. Check the latest stock, shipping charges and delivery availability before placing an order.

The catch? You can buy the stick, recreate the ritual and make a wish, but you cannot buy a guarantee that it will come true. That is what makes the One Wish Willow such an intriguing piece of Obsession merchandise; it sells the fantasy of getting everything you want, while the film asks whether you would really want it at any cost.
