Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) launched this innovative package that will be available at six Panthanivas (a chain of hotels) of Gopalpur, Chandipur, Puri, Konark, Rambha and Barkul. During the first phase, development work on these places would commence.

Shreemayee Mishra, Chairperson of OTDC informed that newlyweds can get a complimentary honeymoon as well as special packages for their first two marriage anniversaries, over and above their wedding package. She further said that since people are enthralled by destination weddings, it’s expected that this new initiative is likely to become a trendsetter.
The wedding package by the Odisha Tourism will cost around ₹2.17 lakhs which will cover the cost for two days including the main wedding meal, 25 rooms, three principal meals for 50 people, basket snacks, cocktail snacks, mineral water in the rooms and the wedding drum. If people want more facilities, the price of the package will increase accordingly.
