Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi by visiting Union Minister Piyush Goyal’s home. Here, PM Modi performed aarti and greeted people who gathered at the Union Minister’s home. Earlier, the Prime Minister wished people on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. He hoped the spirit of kindness and brotherhood always prevails. Read on to know his celebrations.
PM Modi Celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi
On August 31, PM Modi, dressed in an orange-coloured kurta and white dhoti, reached Union Minister Piyush Goyal’s home to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi. He was seen seeking blessings of Lord Ganesha and performing aarti. He took to Twitter to share that he was invited to his colleague’s residence for a Ganesh Chaturthi programme. He wished the blessings of Bhagwan Shri Ganesh always remain upon everyone.

Visited Union Minister Piyush Goyal’s Home For Puja
Apart from PM Modi, Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi and businessman Sunil Bharti Mittal were also present at Goyal’s residence for the puja. PM Modi also shared a Sanskrit shloka to wish the people of India, a Happy Ganesh Chaturthi. Earlier, PM Modi had appealed to people to only gift khadi products for the festive season.
