A Tabla Prodigy From Karnataka Sets National Record

In Indian classical music, playing the tabla is very hard, as you have to strike the drums with your hands in a perfect rhythm to create beats while reciting the vocal syllables, or bols. But a talented two-year-and-10-month-old girl from Honnavar, Uttara Kannada, Karnataka, has left many adults behind in this skill. According to a viral video shared by @adarshahgd, Swarshri Hegde has made it to the India Book of Records for reciting and playing 12 taals on the tabla.

Her video of sitting on a stage and confidently playing the tabla with perfect timing has gone viral on social media, making her an overnight internet sensation. Her achievement may have taken months of practice and complete dedication.
