PM Narendra Modi Celebrates 50 Years Of Project Tiger, Releases Tiger Numbers Today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi concludes his eventful visit to Karnataka by visiting an event in Mysuru. He was present at the event to commemorate the glorious “50 years of Project tiger”. The event for celebrating the completion of 50 years of this crucial project took place in Mysuru on 9 April. He released the numbers of the tiger population in India today. Also, he praised all the people working relentlessly and putting in effort for the protection of the tiger population.

Narendra Modi Shared The Numbers Of The Tiger Census On Sunday

PM Modi talked about how the number of the tiger census is positive. He shared how such remarkable numbers also increase the responsibility to work harder for the conservation of tigers and other wild animals.

Narendra Modi congratulated the stakeholders and environment lovers for such great numbers. He appreciated the efforts of all forest officials, guards, tiger reserve frontline staff, and everyone else involved to work on tiger conservation.

At the present moment, the tiger population in the country is 3,167.

The Prime Minister Also Visited The Bandipur Tiger Reserve On Sunday

PM Modi went to the Bandipur Tiger Reserve during his visit to Karnataka. He experienced a long safari journey of about 20 km inside the tiger reserve. He was there to celebrate the 50 years of Project Tiger. Meanwhile, he also shared the publication of the publication “Amrit Kaal ka Vision for Tiger Conservation”. This is a summary report of the Management Effective Evaluation of Tiger Reserves. Modi ji also released the summary report of the 5th cycle of the All India Tiger Estimation.

Narendra Modi also travelled to the Theppakadu Elephant Camp during his visit to Karnataka on Sunday. He was there to meet The Elephant Whisperers couple; Bomman and Bellie. They are the real-life inspiration behind the Oscar-winning Best Documentary Short Film “The Elephant Whisperers”.

9 April was indeed a day of lots of celebrations and new beginnings.
