Due to this, the government has initiated the process of converting this airport into an international one. And this will be done before the Kumbh Mela begins in 2025. This move by the government tells that the upcoming Kumbh Mela in Uttar Pradesh will surely be a grand affair.

Why Visit The Kumbh Mela 2025 In Prayagraj?
This Mela, auspicious and crucial to the Hindus, take place in Uttar Pradesh every 12 years. It is a festival where Hindus from across the world gather in Prayagraj. Usually, the festival takes place at four sites, including Haridwar, Nashik & Ujjain. This Mela was last held in 2013 and reportedly had millions of attendees who gathered in erstwhile Allahabad for the congregation. As a Hindu, you must visit this Mela at least once in your lifetime. It is believed that taking a dip in the Ganges during Kumbh allows you to wash away your sins.
