Upping Indiranagar’s ante with its quirky concept, restaurant Sly Granny revolves around her secret desires and her most loved food.

What is it?

Owned and run by the owners of Mamagoto, Sly Granny plays big on the concept of a well-travelled granny who loves two things – Arnold Schwarzenegger and Pineapples! A bright blue wall with Schwarzenegger and pineapples catches your attention, as do little pineapple-shaped artefacts.

The entire restaurant revolves around the concept of a living room with a secret ‘arty’ passage that leads to the terrace floor.

It’s a great place to have long lunches or dinners. In the evenings, the terrace turns into one party lounge – sip on your cocktails and enjoy the good music.

What To Eat?

The menu has a little of bit everything from around the world – American, European, Italian and is all served in small plates (enough for one person).

The pickeled mackerel is a nice tangy dish and the roast lamb gnocchi is quite a filler.

They have an interesting range of cocktails that are perfect to cool you down this summer. Try out the Berry & Basil Caprioska, which is a nice twist to the regular caprioska and is my personal favourite.

The Food At Sly Granny

I’d go here with my girlfriends for a lazy afternoon lunch, lots of gossip over good food and cocktails.
