Looking at 2023 by far, there are some incidents that will be written in the history of Indian airlines for sure. The ‘Peegate’ incidents. Yes, for people who are unaware of this, there are some incidents where some passengers have peed on their fellow passengers under the influence of alcohol. Referring to these incidents, Shark Anupam Mittal, founder of Shaadi.com, tweeted asking for a little clarity on the airline’s alcohol policy. He also tried pitching a solution for the problem on Twitter. 

Shark Anupam Mittal Baffled About Alcohol Policy

Shark Anupam Mittal tweeted about the alcohol policy of the international airlines in a very snarky yet hilarious manner. He asked the airlines to actually clarify what they mean when they talk about the drinking limits on a flight. 

He said that he finds it very confusing when they say, “Aap kitna bhi pee sakte hain’, referring to the ‘peegate’ incidents. Mittal used a pun with the word pee, as it means urinating in English while in Hindi the same word means drinking. 

One Twitter user asked the founder of Shaadi.com to give out a solution to such incidents that have been happening. Mittal advised that on-flight liquor should be limited to 2 drinks per passenger, which will help the passengers save money and avoid getting embarrassed. He called this solution a total win-win for both the airline and the passengers.
