The coronavirus pandemic turned our lives upside down. With movie theatres closed for months, public gatherings banned, artists and performers in the entertainment industry suffered a blow to their income. A singer in Jamnagar, Gujarat lost her source of income after her live shows were cancelled due to Covid-19. Not admitting defeat, she opened a street food stall to support herself. A viral video shows her preparing delicious Frankies with a sweet smile on her face and a song on her lips.

Frankie Woman In Jamnagar Wins Hearts Through Inspiring Story

Food vlogger, Karan Thakkar posted an inspiring reel of  “Jamnagar’s Frankie Woman” on his Instagram page @eatinvadodara. In the video, the woman reveals that she is a singer who suffered a loss in income after the pandemic shut down live shows and social gatherings. Despite the challenges, she decided to step up and open a food stall to earn a living. The professional singer realised that Jamnagar didn’t have frankies. So, she opened a frankie stall, where she prepares the vegetable rolls fresh and serves them with a sweet smile.

She Inspires People To Never Give Up Despite Hardships

Her frankie stall became so popular in Jamnagar that she is popularly known as “Frankie Woman” today. Through her story, the singer inspires everyone to never give up, no matter what life throws at them. Frankie Woman also sang a heartwarming rendition of the song “Aaj Main Upar, Aasmaan Neeche”, while roasting her frankies on tawas. This video went viral on Instagram, garnering over 47,000 likes. Netizens praised her singing, determination and were craving her delicious frankies. Meanwhile, here’s a story of a Delhi woman who set up an idli stall to support her daughter.
