Prime Minister Modi is in Gujarat right now because of the Assembly elections. On Wednesday, while speaking at Rajkot’s race course, PM Modi said that soon Gujarat will also manufacture aeroplanes. He launched various other projects also, including housing for the economically weaker sections.

While praising the engineering industry in Rajkot district, he made an announcement. He revealed that Gujarat will soon manufacture aeroplanes are their spare parts will be produced in Rajkot.

Rajkot’s MSME-led engineering business has grown by leaps and bounds. Rajkot has demonstrated its strength by manufacturing pumps and machine tools. And keeping the progress of the Rajkot engineering sector in mind he has taken this decision. Modi hailed Rajkot’s engineering products. He stated that there is no corner in India where the city’s engineering products aren’t used.

PM Modi Also Inaugurated An Indigenously Built Aircraft In Gandhinagar

Yesterday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also unveiled the domestically built aircraft, the Hindustan Turbo at the DefExpo in Gandhinagar. The Ministry of Civil Aviation shared this news via its Twitter handle. The HTT-40 is a low-level trainer plane designed for the Indian air force. According to reports, it is a part of the ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat program by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited.

Also, HTT-40 has a resistant nose wheel, bubble canopy, air-conditioned cabin, and T-tail configuration. However, the highlight of HTT-40 is the pilot-friendly features.
