On November 14, 2023, Subrata Roy passed away. He was 75 years old when he took his last breath on Wednesday. The founder of Sahara India Pariwar died because of a cardiorespiratory arrest. Before the arrest, he also faced some health complications and diseases. After battling and suffering from several ailments in the last some time, he passed away following a tragic cardiorespiratory arrest.

Sahara India Pariwar shared the unfortunate news of Subrata Roy’s death in a Press Statement. The Managing Worker and Chairman of Sahara India Pariwar was rushed to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital & Medical Research Institute in Mumbai on November 12 after experiencing a decline in his health. He suffered from some ailments in the past some time. He battled with some complications due to metastatic malignancy, hypertension, and diabetes, according to the Press Statement.

“Saharasri ji was an inspirational leader and visionary. He passed away on Movember 14, 2023 at 10:30 PM due to cardiorespiratory arrest following an extended battle with complications arising from hypertension, metastatic malignancy, and diabetes. He was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital & Medical Research Institute (KDAH) on November 12, 2023, following a decline in health”, released the Press Statement.

Calling Subrata Roy a guiding force, a mentor, and a source of inspiration for all who had the privilege to work alongside him, Sahara India Pariwar stated how his loss will be felt deeply by the entire conglomerate company. Details about the last rites and rituals of the Managing Worker and Chairman of Sahara India Pariwar will be shared later.

Subrata Roy was born on June 10, 1948, in Bihar’s Araria. Later, he and his family shifted from Bihar to Uttar Pradesh. He lived in Gorakhpur for a long time before shifting to Lucknow in the 1990s. His association with the Sahara India Pariwar started in the year 1978. He has successfully created the group and established it into a world-renowned company by spanning different and diverse sectors; starting from real estate to finance, and a lot more.
