Tanoshii Trail In South Delhi Serves Pan Asian On A Belt!

Asian cutlery, kimono-clad geishas and the Chinese Dragon welcome Delhiites to Tanoshii Trail in Greater Kailash 1. The theme is red and white with walls decked in large paintings. The Pan Asian restaurant aims to bring out the city’s curiosity about the cuisine and turn it into our go-to choice. Delhi’s love for Japanese has grown manifold in the last 5 years. Tanoshii Trail decided to give this city something special in their favourite flavours.

What is it

The food is served on a conveyer belt! Upon taking a seat in their booth style tables, customers find a tablet on their side. That’s the ala-carte menu. You can select your order and place it to the kitchen without any human interaction at all. The concept behind this is to provide guests with as much privacy as they’d like. The experience continues as food magically arrives to the table, again, without having to talk to anybody but the people you came with. This is perfect for some much needed me time! The food is placed on the conveyer belt and you just have to pick it up when you see your order. The entire meal turns into something more than a simple lunch or dinner. The build up to the meal is exciting. Hassle-free eating has finally embraced Pan Asian thanks to Tanoshii Trail. The rush of happiness you feel when delicious food is trotting towards you will ensure a second visit. The visuals are mouth-watering! You know what else is mouth watering? Where’s the food

Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Malaysian, Vietnamese and Burmese, Tanoshii Trail has mastered all of these in one kitchen. The kitchen, we must mention, is glassed-in at the edge of the conveyer belt so you can watch the food in the making too. The restaurant tries to deliver supreme taste and authentic servings with ingredients being shipped in all the way from Japan. However, they say they try to substitute some ingredients with a desi touch. While the wasabi powder comes from Japan to Tanoshii Trail, Ajinomoto is often replaced with turmeric powder for a healthier punch, for example. The results?

The Chicken Crystal Dim sums and BBQ Pork Dim sums just dissolve and disappear in your mouth. They have interesting salad options like Apple Som Tam which is a Thai green apple salad for tangy deliciousness. The special Tanoshii noodles are also a safe bet. Coming to the sushi, to each their own. Each and every one is the work of genius. The menu is 21 pages so be prepared to find options you have never seen before.
