There’s A Mini Thailand In Jibhi, Himachal Pradesh, And I Visited It! Known As Kulhi Katandi, This Secluded Haven Is A Must-Visit

Did you know there’s a Mini Thailand hidden in the lush forests of Jibhi, Himachal Pradesh? Known locally as Kulhi Katandi, this secluded paradise is a must-visit for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. The nickname ‘Mini Thailand’ comes from its unique landscape: two massive rocks stacked together with water flowing between them, creating a serene, beach-like atmosphere. My visit to this hidden gem with my bestie was nothing short of magical! With hardly anyone around, we had the entire place to ourselves. The tranquillity of the surroundings, enhanced by the soothing sounds of flowing water and chirping birds, made for an unforgettable experience. Tucked amidst the wilderness, we even found a tea stall. It was the perfect spot to relax, enjoy some Maggie, momos, and chai, and soak in the natural beauty.

Driving up to Jalori Pass, we were enveloped by the crisp Himalayan air and the breathtaking vistas of verdant valleys and peaks. The winding road, flanked by dense pine forests, led us to this serene spot at over 10,000 feet. You feel a deep connection with nature hiking here with its unspoiled beauty and peaceful solitude. It offers an unforgettable escape into the heart of the Himalayas.

We decided to go hiking, despite the fact that we both are not quite fond of it. We asked ourselves, “Why do we hate hiking again?” and agreed that it was because walking uphill for hours on end while getting attacked by bugs was no fun. Nevertheless, we were determined to give it our all. Though we quickly ran out of breath as we made our way up, it was a fun day for sure!
