India’s Air Asia Makes It To The List

The list of the Top 20 world’s safest low-cost airlines this time includes Air Asia, and we couldn’t be more proud. AirlineRatings.com rates the airlines from one to seven on safety, with seven being the most safe. Audit findings by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) (the aviation industry’s governing body), incident data from the previous two years, crash records from the previous five years, audit findings, EU blacklists, and fleet age are among the considerations taken into account.

Passengers can compare the safety rankings of more than 385 airlines using AirlineRatings’ exclusive safety feature. Each airline has a safety breakdown for passengers to check, know, and decide. You can also check the airline’s country of origin, booking site, seat map, and airline code.

Editor-in-chief of AirlineRatings.com, Geoffrey Thomas, said that all the airlines have some or other incidents that are not always airline operational problems. He said that the way a flight’s crew members handle an incident determines its safety. The website’s annual report includes another ranking of the top 20 safest airlines in the world.
