Dugi Otok Has A Shimmering White Pebble Beach
Dugi Otok is one of the most beautiful islands in Croatia and a day trip to this paradise can be completely worthwhile. And guess what? The island looks bra-shaped in aerial view. The island is located close to Zadar on the mainland and is known for its vineyards and orchards. The island is home to a bay with a shimmering white-pebble beach and pinewoods.
And as the day progresses at the beach, you will see the colours change from turquoise to emerald to deep blue.

Croatia’s Dugi Otok Is A Boat Ride Away From Zadar
When you are at the island, be sure to visit Saharun with a sandy seabed and shallow water. No matter how far you are from the shore, the water will always be knee-deep. Away from the crowd, the beach has nothing but sunbeds, straw parasols, and a few makeshift beach bars. You can get here by boat from Zadar but here’s an insider tip. Don’t miss two quirky contemporary installations, the Sea Organ and The Greeting on Zadar’s seafront promenade and it is best experienced during the sunset.
