The last day of Ramadan is celebrated as Eid Al Fitr across the world. The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources on Monday announced Eid Al Fitr holidays for the public sector in the country.
Going by the Islamic calendar, Eid Al Fitr holidays will be from Ramadan 29 until Shawwal 3 for both sectors.

Ramadan 29 falls on Friday, May 22 and Shawwal 3 falls on Tuesday, May 26. This means all public and private sector employees will now enjoy a five-day weekend. However, it is to be noted that this is only a tentative estimation as the last day of Ramadan depends on the moon’s position.
