UAE To Enjoy A Four-Day Public Holiday For Eid al-Fitr

A four-day public holiday is coming up next month in the UAE and its the perfect time to plan a holiday. UAE will enjoy a long break in June, marking Eid al-Fitr.

What’s It?

The UAE government has declared a four-day holiday marking Eid al-Fitr. The most awaited public holiday is expected to begin on June 4, the last day of Ramadan. However, this is subject to the moon sighting and the official dates will be revealed in a few weeks.

The break will run for three days, but luckily it comes close to the weekend, so that’s an additional two days. We see the smile! The holiday will apply to both public and private sector companies in the UAE.

Meanwhile, you can also expect two days off in August. Arafat (Haj) Day falls on 11 August, while Eid Al-Adha is expected to fall on 12 August. Here’s the full list of public holidays in the UAE in 2019.
