It’s illegal to harass women in an obscene form with words or acts on a public road or in a public place. If done, he will face imprisonment for up to one year and a penalty of around Dh100,000.

Flagrant Indecent Acts Section Of Penal Code
Indecent or degrading behaviour toward women is punishable under Articles 358 and 359 of the UAE Penal Code. In addition, Article 374 outlines the penalties that a person might face if they face sexual harassment at work.

Article 359 further clarifies that any male can’t disguise himself as a woman and access any venue only to women. Suppose the guy commits a crime while in this state; it can be an aggravating factor. The nation might consider it as another way to harass women.
