In the day and age of food trends, expect the unexpected. After an omelette made with Fanta, Coke and other soft drinks, the latest breakfast snack to shock netizens is a 14-egg omelette made with chocolate syrup. Yes, you read it right. If cold drinks can be a suitable ingredient for a fancy omelette, then why not chocolate? Well, read on to know more and watch the viral video.

Surat Based Shop Prepared Omelette With Chocolate Syrup

Shop number 8 at Surat’s Shant Vasuram Shopping Centre has made one of the biggest omelettes you’ve ever seen, with a twist you could never imagine. Egg lovers, behold the 14-egg omelette. In a viral video posted by food vlogger, india_eat_mania, a street food vendor, named Ravi Modi can be first seen preparing the gravy for the omelette. He first sprinkles onions, spices, green chutney, ginger water and oil on a huge tawa. He mashes the ingredients and then adds boiled eggs, masala, tomato chutney and chocolate syrup to the mixture. Yes! Chocolate syrup!

The 14-Egg Omelette is Served With 15 Buttery Pavs

The vendor nonchalantly adds ginger water, veggies and more eggs to the mixture and goes on to prepare the larger than life snack. This boiled egg gravy is topped with oodles of cheese and used as a filling inside the 14-egg omelette.  It’s then served with 15 buttery pavs. This dish, priced at ₹450 is fit for kings. It can be devoured by at least 4 people. But the unique ingredient of chocolate syrup in an omelette has left foodies shocked. While one netizen jokingly commented of getting a heart attack after watching the video, another one questioned if the vendor is preparing mithai or omelette.
