Love bikes? Love BBQ food? BBQ Ride India has brought them both together only for you on the roads of Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi and Chenai

What Is It?

We’re all very familiar with the concept of food-trucks. But we’re also aware of the roads in metro cities lately. With food trucks comes all the drama of commercial license, parking space, traffic and not to forget the gas consumpation. To fight this, these recent college graduates: Arun, Krishna and Nijish came up with a brilliant idea.

It’s the BBQ food bike. I know! I know! You’re wondering how? Well, they fabricated 2 bikes – a 500 cc Royal Enfield and a Royal Enfield Classic 350 cc Bullet – into mobile barbecue food stands. It started off with 2 bikes and now they have turned into a franchise with 13 bikes in 4 different cities in the country.

Mumbaikars! Don’t be sad. With 7 bikes in Bengaluru, 2 in Delhi, 2 in Hyderabad and 2 in Chennai, they have major plans of expansion in cities like Mumbai and Pune.

What’s In It?

This Royal BBQ Food Bike is quite a swanky one. It is designed in such a way that it is very compact and being a bike, it can be driven by anyone who knows how to ride a bike.

They have a proper grill where in front of you, they grill your meaty and non-meaty delights. There is a grill pan and they only use coal to give the food a nice smoky flavour. What surprises us is that they even have storage units for all the meats, sauces and coal in that tiny space.

BBQ Ride India does not fail to create a nice atmosphere around with foldable tables and umbrella. I just cannot wait to see this cutesy bike.

What To Eat?

Well, if you spot a food bike, you must try their Smoky Chicken Strips. Tantalise your tastebuds with their BBQ Hot Wings, Peri Peri Wings and slow-cooked drumsticks. Their juicy BBQ Burger is another crowd puller.

Vegetarians don’t be disappointed, they have some delicious grilled pineapple wedges, mushrooms, paneer and capsicum with some brilliant sauces.

What Else?

With the ultimate makeover they’ve given to the Royal Enfield bike, they claim to be India’s First Food BBQ Bike and World’s First BBQ Bike chain. We have a feeling this is going to be one kickass MAKE IN INDIA project.

Oh! They take up private parties as well.
