Tigers are one of the most majestic creatures in the world. To be able to behold one in real life is an experience that no human being would ever forget. If you’re lucky enough to witness them while they’re hunting and in action, you realise why they are an apex predator. Recently, a video went viral on social media which showed a tiger dragging its prey across the watering hole in Ranthambore National Park.

A remarkable video was recently shared by the Instagram handle of Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan. The video showed a tiger who was successfully hunting in Zone 10 of the national park. He had managed to attack and kill what looked like a deer.

After successfully killing it, the tiger then dragged its prey across the watering hole. The video was shared along with the caption “Tiger with Kill.” The caption also mentioned that this hunt took place in Zone 10 of the national park

The video is taken while some lucky tourists were on a safari and throughout the video, the chatter of the tourists can be heard in the background.

Other Similar Encounters At Ranthambore National Park

Another video shared shortly after exhibited another rare tiger encounter. The video was shot at nighttime and showed a tiger mounting a wall of the national park. As per the caption of the video, the sighting took place at Ganesh Dham.

The video was shared along with the caption “Rare nighttime encounter. Tiger came to the wall at Ganesh Dham in Ranthambore.” Many commenters shared their awe at such a sighting.

According to an article which was recently published by India Today, there are more than 80 tigers in the national park.
