We Crossed The Sea To Reach This Island In Vietnam With A Giant Wheel, Zoo, Underwater Museum And Much More

Reaching a fairyland in the middle of the ocean on a speedboat! This was something I had probably just seen in movies until I visited VinWonders Nha Trang in Vietnam. Spread across an area of 4,200 square metres, the theme park is home to so many attractions that a single day will fall short to cover them all.

VinWonders Nha Trang is a paradise in the heart of the aquamarine ocean with thrilling rides, an underwater museum, a water park, a zoo, a giant viewing wheel, Vietnamese restaurants and much more.

VinWonders Nha Trang: A Theme Park In The Middle Of The Sea In Vietnam

Adjacent to the opulent VinPearl Resort, lies the theme park, VinWonders Nha Trang. At 10:30 AM, we reached the harbour opposite VinPearl Resort, where a swanky speedboat was waiting to take us to the island. We crossed the sea to reach the island. The entry to the park is 750,000 VND ( nearly ₹2626) and includes all rides and shows. This means you can take any ride as many times as you want. The theme park is also referred to as Nha Trang’s Disneyland.

We enjoyed a plethora of rides at the theme park, from giant sky chaser, 360-degree hurricane and swing carousel to striking cars and vertical falls. But the ride I liked the most was the alpine coaster. It is a two-seater mountain coaster that cuts through the island’s lush greenery and offers gorgeous sea views. We also enjoyed panoramic views of the island from the giant Sky Wheel.

We Walked Below Sharks And Stingrays

The marine ecosystem at VinWonders can leave you stupefied with its magnificence. We took a stroll through the underwater museum and spotted sharks, stingrays and other aquatic creatures. Inside the museum, we were literally walking below the sharks.

The park also conducts aquatic shows like fish feeding shows and mermaid shows. Other than these shows, visitors can also watch performances of local dance troupes. A musical water fountain show occurs here after sunset when the park is beautifully illuminated with golden lights.

We had loved the morning views from the Sky Wheel so much that we went back after sunset to catch the night views as well. The island houses some local Vietnamese restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream parlours and fashion stores too.

Nha Trang has a stunning coastline, and VinPearl Resort is the most popular attraction here. In this city, you can also indulge in the popular Vietnamese mud bath.
