On this fantastic episode of Tere Gully Mein, we explored the Silicon Valley of India with Rida Tharana, the brilliant content creator. We roamed around Bengaluru and did everything from chatting to eating! She was a treat to hang out with and we truly enjoyed her company. And we couldn’t resist indulging in some delicious local fare. So, we paid a visit to The Filter Coffee in HRBR Layout in Kalyan Nagar.
We Enjoyed A Traditional South Indian Meal With Rida Tharana
We relished some lip-smacking local fare, from poriyal to cauliflower sabzi! Rida gave us lessons in eating etiquette for South Indian food. She guided us throughout the meal and we were very appreciative of that fact!
The special for the day at The Filter Coffee was Poriyal. Poriyal is a delicious dish made from coconut, french beans and carrots. The meal gave us all the warm fuzzy feels of a homemade meal and we thoroughly enjoyed it!
While chatting over this delicious meal, we asked Rida what was the biggest challenge when she started out on the journey of content creation. She revealed that since she was a people-pleaser, she had no idea how to deal with the hatred she got.

Bengaluru Or Coorg? Which Would She Choose Now?
Luckily though, Rida has since started therapy and is now significantly better at handling the negativity that the Internet hands to her. Given that she’s from Coorg but is now living in Bengaluru, we also asked which place would she pick.
She said that she prefers both equally. The two places, from what she said, meet very different requirements in her life. She says if you want to live a fast-paced life filled with convenience, you should live in Bengaluru. However, if you love a slow, cottagecore life, Coorg is the place for you!
