On his arrival in India, weightlifter Achinta Sheuli celebrated his victory with a fried chicken bucket at KFC. He was spotted at the KFC outlet in Kolkata’s Park Street. He shared pictures on Instagram, posing next to buckets of fried chicken. In yet another picture, he is seen sitting next to his brother with 4 red buckets of fried chicken on the table.

Achinta Sheuli took to his caption to share his thoughts. He revealed that it has been a moment of absolute joy and pride for the gold-medal-winning weightlifter. Achinta said that this one moment defined all the years of hard work and perseverance that he has put in. He expressed gratitude to his best cheerleaders- his family, countrymen, and coaches. Admitting to having spent joyful moments in KFC earlier, Achinta said he is happy to enjoy the day with his brother and a KFC bucket.
