Hold your breath, and try not to feel squeamish, because this is Sweden’s Disgusting Food Museum. It houses 80 of the world’s most disgusting dishes. As a visitor, you can get the chance to see, smell and even taste some of the food. The best part is that the museum tickets are printed on vomit bags, which might come in handy. This is the fear factor you didn’t know you need. The museum has interesting dishes on display like China’s wine-filled- baby mice, Guam’s fruit bat soup and Italy’s live maggot filled cheese, to name a few. Dr. Samuel West, the museum curator and psychologist established this Disgusting Food Museum to expose people to different regional delicacies and build a sense of wider acceptance of each other’s cuisine and cultures.
