According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP), you need to wait for a certain period to be eligible for a booster dosage. It all depends on the vaccination you had. The rules went viral on the Ministry’s social media accounts on January 5th. Read on to know about the eligibility of different type of vaccines.

Sinopharm

MOHAP has suggested two distinct time periods based on your age and health if your initial vaccine was Sinopharm.
Three month waiting period is a must for individuals above 16 and over 50 with chronic conditions. If they don’t suffer from such comorbidities, they can take the booster dose in six months. Individuals who have already received the Sinopharm vaccination might obtain a booster dose of the same or a different vaccine.

Pfizer & Sputnik

Similarly, Pfizer & Sputnik also has a six month waiting period for the booster dose after full vaccination. The age group above 18 yrs can take the booster dose as specified above.
