What Is It?
Dedicated to the love of whisky on the Golf Course Road in Gurgaon is this new restaurant called Whisky Samba that serves some brilliant Italian, Asian and Charcoal Grill. Exclusively for whisky lovers and connoisseurs, by Ashish Dev Kapur; Whisky Samba is one of its kind and we’re delighted to tell you about it.

What’s In It?
Whiskey Samba buzzes with office goers and will remind you of the bars in London. Located in the heart of Horizon Centre on the Golf Course Road, this place has breath-taking ambience. The outside resembles a Parisian inspired canopy that covers the alfresco seating. With huge see through glass doors and windows, you can sit by and enjoy the sight.
It has seating for 250 and a 50-foot long bar. You heard me right! And they serve some 140 varieties of whisky with around 3000 bottles on display. Classy minimal black and white interiors, with a lot of tones of browns imparted by the use of wood and leather gives a rugged yet cosy feel to the place.

What To Eat?
With ingredient based cooking techniques, Chef Akshay Bharadwaj’s brings in brilliant versions of local and seasonal produce.
Salmon Carpaccio (with a homemade sauce of coriander, pickled ginger and green chilies) & Tiger prawn ceviche (with a litchi reduction and berry compote) are just the best burst of flavours in the mouth.

Their Barbequed pork belly skewers has a lovely charred crunch & tender inside. The best part is the fact that it braised for 7 hours and so the flavours are unique and to the point.
The Burgers at Whisky Samba are must try for meat lovers. They serve the five textures of pineapple which is a winner in desserts and you would want to get another serving of the same.
What To Drink?
Well, whisky is not always neat or on the rocks. So try the cocktails here which are just the right mix of favours and will rejuvenate your palate. Sound interesting?
