Wild Expeditions’s New Immersive Wildlife Training Programs: All You Need To Know About Them

Safaris are probably one of the most thrilling experiences you can have in your lifetime. To witness wild animals in all their glory feels exhilarating. However, it only lasts for a few hours and you’re still not able to learn much about what it is to truly coexist with these terrifying and magnificent creatures. Well, Wild Expeditions has recently launched an immersive wildlife training program that lets participants experience an authentic wildlife experience.

The training program is created specifically for those people who desire to learn more about what it means to be coexisting with wild animals. There are certain nuances and complications that you won’t learn about until and unless you live in a particular situation.

Participants will receive intensive and thorough training. They will be taught the identification of trees, insects, and even of animal skulls. Such skills can help a lot as they reveal important information. They will also receive training on tracking wildlife as well as other important information about ecology, birds, stars, and more.

Participants will also receive first-hand experience with the kinds of challenges that such communities face when living with wild animals. According to the director of Wild Exhibitions, Chris Roche, discussing such challenges is completely different from experiencing them. “…to hear the roar of a lion near your hut, knowing that your crops or cattle may be at risk.”

The program will be spearheaded by expert trackers and guides. Participants will also get chances to come face-to-face with untamed wild beasts and will also learn how to track them on foot. This program is ideal for small families as well as for solo travellers. The trips will be in groups of six.

The program goes on for six nights. Currently, the dates of only two batches have been revealed. One will take place in the first week of December, that is, from the 1st to the 7th. The second is in February 2024, from the 9th to the 15th. The training will take place in a small Zimbabwean village.
