Airbnb’s Creative Guide To Bangkok

In 2023, Bangkok emerged as the most popular destination city in Thailand, which was also the most visited country in Southeast Asia according to Airbnb. The number of nights reserved in Thailand on Airbnb in 2023 increased by almost 60% year over year as the travel industry continues to flourish. This Airbnb Guide is curated with local insights from well-known Thai tastemakers and Airbnb Superhosts. It is also made, keeping with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s (BMA) objectives to promote creative tourism. The four neighbourhoods—Talat Noi, Wang Doem, Talat Phlu, and Kudi Chin—are highlighted.

Airbnb’s Creative Guide to Bangkok includes the newest creative hangouts, local cuisine, authentic stays, and must-see locations, ranging from street art and local markets to architecture and cuisine. To promote tourism before Songkran, the guide, which is available in English, Chinese, and Thai, will be distributed throughout Asia-Pacific, especially in Thailand’s main travel corridors with China and India.

Airbnb organised a panel discussion titled, “A New Era of Bangkok Tourism: Creative, Cultural and Community-led” as part of the introduction of Airbnb’s Creative Guide to Bangkok.
