Adventure junkies, here’s something that will get your adrenaline pumping! The Yas Kartzone is now open! Get a first-hand F1 experience, and feel the adrenaline rush just like a racer. Online pre-booking is mandatory.
The Yas Kartzone
The track spans 1.2km and has 21 twisting turns, encircling the W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island hotel before heading back to the finish line. Drivers will be taken through a briefing session before getting started. The tracks are made of rubber, and scrubbed with glue to provide better grip when drivers launch.
This one’s literally a dream come true and you will actually want to pinch yourself to be sure you’re not dreaming. But the fun does not end here! If you wish to hone your skills, enroll yourself at the school and learn what it takes to become a race car driver.
The Kartzone is open to everyone above 13 years of age. All participants must bring their own gear- helmets, race suits, balaclavas and gloves or purchase them onsite. Only the karts will be available to hire. Meanwhile did you know Ferrari World Abu Dhabi Now Has A Virtual Roller Coaster!
In addition to the Yas Kartzone, the Yas Marina Circuit has also opened a set of fitness activities. The TrainYAS and TrainAM is now open for Abu Dhabi Cycling club members only. Run, cycle and stroll on an F1 track! Spend your evenings working up a sweat on the F1 race track. Fitness enthusiasts can jog a lap, grab a bike from the Abu Dhabi Cycling club or take a leisurely walk with your loved one.
Guidelines
- Cycling is permitted only on the circuit
- Facemak must be worn at all times
- Children under 13 and adults above 60 years are not permitted
- Participants must maintain social distancing at all times
- All equipment must be bought by the participants and sharing will not be permitted
The DriveYAS experience will reopen on 20 June. Adrenaline junkies can get their dose of adrenaline rush by swooning around the track in mean machine including an Aston Martin, Mercedes AMG GTC or a Caterham Seven. Customers who are interested must make a prior booking online.
