For this, the department plans to launch bike riding opportunities and jungle safaris. Currently, Corbett Tiger Reserve in the state offers similar experiences to tourists. Imagine going on a cycling tour with guides to spot leopards, tigers and exotic birds in the forest. At the moment, visitors at Binsar Forest Sanctuary can only explore the lush green forest on foot. But the terrain is undergoing a gorgeous transformation. On receiving approval from the government, the forest department can utilise ₹12 crore to carry out the plans to launch bike riding and jungle safari opportunities.
