Newly Launched: Cavalli Powai Review

Put on your party shoes and head to Powai. Trust me, its worth the trek as Cavalli Powai opens its doors & adds the much needed sheen to Mumbai’s nightlife.

What Is It?

Crystal ornamented chandeliers shimmer through the walls and high-end designer finishings. The grandeur took me back to a nightclub (of the name same) on my recent trip to Dubai though the owners are quick to clarify that they are not associated with Dubai’s Cavalli. A high energy nightclub in an otherwise sophisticated Powai, Cavalli is sure to create quite a stir.

The star-studded launch party last week was attended by Neil Nitin Mukesh, Sophie Chaudhary, Jonty Rhodes, Urvashi Rautela, Manveer Gujjar and the likes.

What’s In It?

The grandeur of crystal chandeliers and crystal chains, which is a staple to Cavalli Clubs across the world, dot the entire venue. The space is huge and promises to serve 600 plus at one time. The dim lighting through the shimmers add to the Arabic and the Mediterranean feel of the venue.

Cavalli is glitzy which is evident in its shiny cushions and leather print seating. The walls are 16 feet high making the club look spacious. A fashionable entry to the party scene, Cavalli is the new hot-spot in Mumbai. The DJ here is known for his love for EDM music and Bollywood tracks and you can shake your booty at the dance aisle around the table.

What Else?

Cavalli Powai serves Mediterranean, Arabian and Lebanese cuisine. The club also offers Sheesha for all the hookah lovers. The Green Apple Margarita comes highly recommended and we suggest you give it a shot.

Fun Fact: Ladies! Go on Thursdays, entry and three drinks are on the house.

Barring its surroundings of an under construction site, the lounge has happily found its place on the second floor of a Heera Pana Mall.
