Since the grand ‘pran pratishtha’ ceremony on January 22, Ayodhya Ram Mandir has welcomed more than 1.5 crore visitors! These numbers were revealed by the officials of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust recently. They further went on to mention that around one lakh people visit the temple daily to seek blessings from Ram Lalla.

1.5 Crore People Visit Ayodhya Ram Mandir Since Pran Pratishtha

Since the inaugural ceremony and the grand pran pratishtha in January, the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya has seen more than 1.5 crore devotees. People from all walks of life have been visiting the temple and the numbers rose exponentially during the recent Ram Navami celebrations at the temple. These figures were revealed by Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.

In a press conference, he further mentioned that “more than one lakh people visit the temple to have darshan” every day. While the temple is still under construction, the 51-inch-tall idol of Ram Lalla was installed and opened for darshan in January. More than 8,000 VVIPS attended the pran pratishtha ceremony and Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over the rituals.

A 14-Foot-Wide Security Wall To Be Built Around The Temple

Talking about further plans for Ayodhya Ram Mandir, the Trust went on to announce the construction of a 14-foot-wide security wall around the temple premises. This security wall will be called ‘Parkota’ and will be a multipurpose area that will feature 6 additional temples.

Talking about ‘Parkota’, Champat Rai said, “The ‘Parkota’ will be multipurpose where 6 more temples will be built that is of Lord Shankar, Lord Surya, a ‘Garbhgriha’ and at two arms, temple of Lord Hanuman and Maa Annapurna will be built… Temples of Maharishi Valmiki, Maharishi Vashishtha, Maharishi Vishwamitra, and Maharishi Agastya will also be built in the temple premises. Temples of Nishad Raj, Ma Shabri, Ma Ahilya, and Jatayu will be built as well. The temple will have the capacity to accommodate 25,000 pilgrims at a time with all their baggage.”

The temple trust also mentioned that they have protected 600 plants in the temple premises. They further talked about the water treatment plant and sewer treatment plant in Ram Mandir premises that will help make the entire facility self-dependent and face no troubles in the future.
