You must agree that this resembles its Abu Dhabi namesake quite a bit. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Fujairah offers accommodation for 28,000 worshipers. Tours are offered every day of the week, except Fridays, and it’s one of the top cultural activities in Fujairah.

7. Kayak On Al-Rafisah Dam

The Al-Rafisah Dam is located 30 kilometres north of Fujairah city and six kilometres inland from Khor Fakkan, an exclave of Sharjah on the east coast.

The dam is a well-liked vacation spot for families who wish to spend a laid-back day outside the city, surrounded by nature. It is surrounded by scenery of rugged, dark mountain peaks and is home to various birds. You may rent kayaks and pedal boats to go out on the water.

8. Road Trip To Fujirah’s Smallest Fort

The former administrative centre for Fujairah’s royal family was Al-Hayl Castle, located 11 kilometres west of Fujairah City. It was constructed around 250 years ago and has been crucial to the region’s security, serving as a base for patrols and surveillance to protect Fujairah. The round watch tower is 20 metres high inside, with good views and tiny apertures cut onto the walls for archers.
