No amount of heat or rise in temperatures can stop travel enthusiasts from exploring as accommodations and stays are already noticing a rise of 18 per cent in comparison to 2023, Booking.com revealed. From exploring domestically to flying overseas, Indian families have loads of plans for the summer holidays.
Quality Time Influences Many Indian Families To Travel More
Recent data revealed by Booking.com stated how spending quality time is important for travelers and it often encourages 56 per cent of Indian families to plan summer holidays. 51 per cent of families look to go on trips to pocket-friendly destinations. Another primary motivator for travel enthusiasts is to enjoy the opportunity to visit new destinations and discover new experiences. 18 per cent of families prefer taking trips to rejuvenate and relax. Along with an uptick in demand for stays, searches for flights also increased by 29 per cent.
The list of top 10 searched domestic destinations includes the best of everything, starting from spiritual places to beaches to mountains. On the basis of a year-over-year surge in searches for stays, these tourist places and getaways are in demand this summer season:

- Mahabaleshwar in Maharashtra
- Goa
- Chakrata in Uttarakhand
- Vrindavan in Uttar Pradesh
- Tirumala in Andhra Pradesh

- Mussoorie in Uttarakhand
- Mandarmani in West Bengal
